Third Annual Eco Appetito
On September 19, from 3-6 p.m., Cinque Terre will host the third annual Eco Appetito food, wine and spirits tasting event in support of the Ferry Beach Ecology School (FBES). The event will feature tempting silent auction items and whimsical eco-performances by students and teachers from the school as well as premium meats, hand-made pastas, artisan cheeses and breads, fresh seafood and beverages. Tickets are $35 per person and can be purchased online at www.ecoappetito.com.


Make Plans to Attend the 2010 Harvest Dinner
Much of the produce served at Cinque Terre and Vignola is grown at our own Grand View Farm in Greene, Maine, and our Harvest Dinner is an annual celebration of the bounty of the season. Scheduled for September 12, guests will depart Portland at 12:30 p.m., enjoy a reception and multi-course dinner featuring Grand View's produce, and then depart the farm at 6 p.m. It's a delightful day, and we hope you'll make plans to attend. Cook up Some Fun in October
Save the date! On October 30, the Tuscan Mamas, some of our favorite friends from Italy, will be here to host a special cooking class. Those who sign up will learn authentic Italian techniques while dining on their creations. It's a fabulous afternoon that is not to be missed. Watch for more information.


Daily Aperitivo Hour at Cinque Terre
Cinque Terre's new Aperitivo Hour is the perfect way to wind down each day. Our buffet of tempting bar snacks along with Prosecco and drink specials are offered every afternoon from 4-6 p.m. It's an Italian tradition we know you'll enjoy.
